GWIS is a wonderful place with green lush campus for students from diverse backgrounds to grow educationally, get involved, and have a meaningful high school experience.
In every way that schools are measured, whether its academically, athletically or in the fine and performing arts, GWIS excels.
Our curriculum, course offerings, co- and extra-curricular offerings are second to none.
 
We believe that effective teachers:
Create opportunities for intellectual risk-taking, collaboration, problem-solving and application of classroom learning to real life situations;Implement strategies that promote ownership of learning to students;Design instruction to integerate a variety of innovative technological tools and resources to enhance learning and design assessments that promote 21st century skills.
